Basic description
Soft tissue massage is an ideal extension or addition to the application of a classic or reflex massage, the impact of which can be made more effective. By massaging soft tissues such as the skin, subcutaneous tissue, muscles or tendons, it is gradually passed through various fascias, i.e. the ligament itself. Special procedures can release and restore blocked functions of the ligament and other soft tissues accessible from the body surface. This therapeutic intervention provides the affected client pain relief and a feeling of relaxation.
Usually, I focus on the painful area on the neck and back, but I also apply soft techniques to the limbs. This technique is further used in painful conditions, when a classic massage represents a great burden for the client and is momentarily unsuitable, soft techniques slowly and gradually release painful areas. An integral part of this technique is the examination of the affected area. Its goal is to find changes in individual layers of skin and deeper tissues.
