Basic description
Classic massage has a preventive and healing effect in order to ensure the relief of pain and the associated other difficulties resulting from many activities of the day. The massage has a positive influence on the skin, muscles, bones and joints, vascular, lymphatic, nervous, respiratory or digestive system.
Classic massage creates responses in the body – reactions that have a certain healing effect. It manifests itself not only in the place of application, but also in distant places or even in the whole organism. The effect of classical massage is manifested on the surface of the body, and also in the deeper layers of tissues. For example, muscle recovery is faster after exercise and muscle performance is improved. If the massage is performed in a centrifugal direction (towards heart), it improves the heart's economic activity, which means that the subsequent improvement of blood circulation has an effect on the whole body, starting with the brain and ending with the kidneys.
